In November 2011 loading in the Arkhangelsk region of Northern railway made up 630,5 thousand tons, that is 17,4% more than in November 2010. Goods turnover is now 2,3 billion tons-km, that exceeds the last year results by 5,1 %. News agency REGNUM reported about this in the press service of the branch.
The main transported goods are paper, cellulose, building materials and oil products. Comparing with November 2010 there is the increase of loading volume of construction goods by 40,2 % (219,5 thousand tons have been transported), of cement by 71% (39,5 thousand tons), of ferrous metals by 184,4% (9,1% thousand tons) and of timber cargo by 13,5% (180,4 thousand tons).
In December the ships’ arrival in the direction of Arkhangelsk-Dudinka is expected in the following order:
m/v « Monchegorsk» the arrival to the port of Arkhangelsk is expected on December 14, 2011. The working of the vessel will last until December 21, 2011. The arrival to the port of Dudinka from the port of Arkhangelsk is scheduled for December 28, 2011.
m/v « Nadezhda» the arrival to the port of Arkhangelsk is expected on December 25, 2011. The working of the vessel will last until December 31, 2011. The arrival to the port of Dudinka from the port of Arkhangelsk is scheduled for January 7, 2012.
JSC “Belomortrans” successfully completed the delivery of 5 outsized power station units for Grib diamond deposit in Mezen district. The weight of one generator was 90 tons. For security purposes the company equipped the Lodma river banks for the usage of ramp barge, conducted engineering research and strengthening of the bridge and prepared the road over the 130 km part of technological road from Arkhangelsk to Grib diamond deposit.
In November the ships’ arrival in the direction of Arkhangelsk-Dudinka is expected in the following order: m/v «Norilskiy Nickel» the arrival to the port of Arkhangelsk is expected on November 17, 2011. The departure from the port of Arkhangelsk to the port of Dudinka is scheduled for November 24, 2011. m/v « Nadezhda» the arrival to the port of Arkhangelsk is expected on November 25, 2011. The departure from the port of Arkhangelsk to the port of Dudinka is scheduled for December 7, 2011.

The specialists of the company gathered all the necessary approvals and carried out customs registration of the exhibits. The mobile multimodal exposition “Science in the world’s end” devoted to the Arctic scientific research by the Norwegian scientist and traveler Fridtjof Nansen and his contribution to the study of the northern territories opens on 31 Octoberat 14:00 in museum-exhibition complex “Arkhangelsk Gostiny Dvor”.
