Board of Directors of Railways has approved a package of documents  on creation of a “sister” subsidiary in the sphere of scientific and technological activities in the field of transport – JSC “Institute of Economy and Transport Development” (IERT).
A subsidiary company will carry out research work in the development of control models, business-and technical-economic planning, development of infrastructure capacity, long-term simulation of techno-economic parameters of the transportation process, development of transport and logistics market, and innovative development.
The main consumers of IERT services will be the Russian Railways, Ministry of Transport and the federation’s regions of RF.

A possibility of creation a terminal-logistic center in Arkhangelsk region was discussed by Arkhangelsk region  Economic  Ministry, Industrial, Transport and Connection Ministry representatives at their meeting with the chief representatives of the RZHD terminals development Center.
 
Arkhangelsk is positioned as the basic area for Arctic region development in the XXI century (Northern Sea Route revival, prime cost of cargo transportation via which is  favorable for 35 % than via the South route of  Suez Canal; offshore deposit development including realization of such megaproject as Stockman gas-condensate field on the offshore of the Barents Sea).

Press service of the Kaliningrad Regional Customs informs the participants of foreign economic activity as well as all interested persons that by the movement of goods across the Russian-Belarusian border it is necessary to confirm the status of such goods.

A new draft about Russia joining to the international convention on customs procedures simplification is brought in the State Duma. The draft assumes transparency of the customs control operations, declaration simplification and maximum usage of information technologies. As FCS Russia press-cutting service chief Dmitriy Kotikov noted, Russian customs has already been preparing for  Russia joining to Kyoto convention in the context of the General appendix dated of the year 1999 for a long time. The norms have already been considered when Customs legislation was worked out. The Customs code of CU, that came into operation on 1st July, 2010 is totally based on the norms of International Convention on customs procedure simplification and harmonization (Kyoto Convention)/ The “ one window” principle in the items of passing through Russian border (the draft is passed to the ) is also based on the demands of this Convention.

The first in this season cruise ship moored in the port of Murmansk. On its board almost all the passengers are elderly people. They think that with retire life just begins, thus why not to travel for pleasure.
The cruise ship«Ocean Princess» - is like a princess on the market square. It looks at the same time wild and charming. It is 167 meters long. Onboard there are six hundred passengers and three hundred crew.

Just yesterday “Ocean princess” was at the Norwegian port.  And today – a walk along the Russian Murmansk.

The guests are met without tantara, palms in tubs – is the single element of the festival. This year the port of Murmansk plans to get two more cruise ships. “Ocean princess” already this evening leaves the port for the Lofoten Islands.

On June, 11th 2010 took place an annual general meeting of JSC “Sea port of Saint-Petersburg” stockholders where were discussed and approved the annual report  for the year of 2009 of the Company, annual accounting report, profit and loss report, profit distribution, and also there was decided to pay dividends based on the results of the financial year.
The clear profit of JSC “ Sea port of Saint-Petersburg” in the year of 2009 was 41 mln. 844 hundred rub. According to the meeting results the stockholders approved to pay dividends for general stocks in the amount of 100 rubles for a stock, the total amount of dividends will be 31 mln. 300 hundred rub.
The general meeting of stockholders elected the following members of the  directors committee: Rishat Bagautdinov, Oleg Bukin, Vladimir Kasyanenko, Viktor Kirilenko, Vitaliy Mishin, Valeriy Fedorov, Igor Fedorov.
The checkup-committee consists of: Ilya Elisavetskiy, Polina Ermakova, Irina karaseva, Natalya Kurbanalieva, Anna Ryabinina.
The auditor company of JSC “ Sea port of Saint-Petersburg ” for the year of 2010 is approved to be «BDO Saint-Petersburg».
